Night Shift Brake Technician - Cumming, GA

About the position

Goodyear is immediately hiring for the position of Night Shift Brake Technician in Cumming, GA. This role involves servicing delivery vans for scheduled preventative maintenance at client sites, performing line technician services such as oil changes, tire services, routine inspections, system diagnostics, brake repairs, fluid exchanges, and tire installations. The technician will also have the opportunity to learn and train for advanced repairs and state inspections, with initial training potentially taking place in a customer retail environment before transitioning to the client site.

Responsibilities

• Servicing delivery vans for scheduled preventative maintenance at a client site
• Perform line technician services such as oil changes and tire services
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance
• Perform system diagnostics and brake repairs
• Execute fluid exchanges and flushes
• Install tires and perform preventative maintenance
• Learn and train to do advanced repairs and state inspections

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of automotive experience including brake repairs, fluid flushes, and preventative maintenance
• Valid driver's license and be at least 18 years of age
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future

Nice-to-haves

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• ASE Certification(s)
• Previous experience diagnosing vehicles and performing road tests
• Experience with electrical systems, air conditioning, and primary and advanced fuel ignition
