About the position

The Night Auditor/Front Desk Clerk is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to guests during the night shift, ensuring smooth check-in and check-out processes, and addressing guest needs in the absence of management. This role involves handling reservations, managing guest accounts, and maintaining the overall safety and cleanliness of the hotel environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with check-in and check-out processes.
• Handle phone calls and special requests for services or information.
• Maintain records of occupied rooms and guest accounts.
• Make and confirm reservations, compute bills, and collect payments.
• Respond to guest complaints and refer issues to management as necessary.
• Perform physical inspections of the property and maintain cleanliness in common areas.
• Ensure security needs of the property and guests are met.
• Provide directions and information about hotel amenities and local attractions.
• Know and respond to property emergency procedures.

Requirements

• 1 year of hospitality experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Work authorization required.
• Pre-employment drug screening required.

Nice-to-haves

• Multilingual skills are a plus.
• Experience in front desk operations is preferred.
