Soliant Health is seeking experienced Neonatal ICU Registered Nurses (NICU RNs) for travel assignments in San Jose, CA. This role involves providing specialized care to critically ill newborns in a hospital setting, with a focus on delivering high-quality nursing services during a 13-week assignment. The position requires working night shifts, specifically 3x12 hour shifts, and is ideal for nurses looking for a traveler-friendly facility.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill newborns in the Neonatal ICU.
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions and vital signs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate families on care procedures and health management for their newborns.
Requirements
- Must have a valid California RN License.
- Minimum of 2 years of NICU RN experience required.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required.
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification is required.
