About the position

The NICET III Fire Sprinkler Operations Manager at Impact Fire Services is responsible for overseeing fire sprinkler design and operational duties within the Charleston district. This role aims to achieve financial, operational, and customer satisfaction goals set by the District General Manager. Responsibilities

  • Perform fire sprinkler design or fire sprinkler/suppression operational duties for the district.
  • Establish productivity goals for technical and administrative tasks aligned with division priorities.
  • Learn and ensure compliance with all applicable industry codes.
  • Protect the company's assets.
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by the District General Manager or Managing Member.

Requirements

  • NICET Level III certification in Water-Based Systems Layout is required.
  • Experience in fire sprinkler design and/or fire sprinkler/suppression operations.
  • Possess necessary licensing and certification as required by National, State, and Local codes.
  • Working knowledge of NFPA 72 and established knowledge of all product lines and services offered by Impact Fire Services.
  • Competency with the Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn the company's information systems applications quickly.
  • Experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining safe working procedures.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic and professional appearance.
  • Ability to fit in with a culture of teamwork.
  • Demonstrate a high level of customer service.
  • Self-starter that can work with little to no supervision.
