About the position
The Department of Pediatrics at Stony Brook Children’s Hospital is seeking a full-time Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatrician for a Newborn Nursery (NBN) Hospitalist position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. This role involves participation in resident education, development of research programs, and direct patient care in a major university setting. Responsibilities
- Provide direct care to patients at the Labor and Delivery Service and Nursery at Southampton Hospital.
- Participate in the education of residents.
- Develop research programs and participate in patient care programs appropriate to a major university.
- Engage in collaborative clinical care and medical education.
Requirements
- MD/DO degree
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatrics
- Eligible for Medical Licensure in the State of New York
