About the position

The Sales Associate is responsible for managing sales performance and margin enhancement efforts for new construction homes at Blue Mountain Communities. This role involves understanding the regional market, collaborating with the operating team, and ensuring that sales goals are met in alignment with the company's brand.

Responsibilities

  • Sell and close new construction homes at Blue Mountain Communities.
  • Understand the competitive marketplace and provide feedback to management on pricing, product specifications, and incentives.
  • Make recommendations to management based on competitive market understanding.
  • Generate leads through community and broker outreach.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with realtors through networking and visits to real estate offices.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to ensure website positioning and pricing accuracy.
  • Ensure point of sale materials are in-stock and accurate.
  • Review MLS listings for accuracy.
  • Present and demonstrate homes and community features positively.
  • Coordinate with buyers and lenders as necessary.
  • Sell and contract homes, guiding buyers through the option selection process.
  • Review all sales paperwork for accuracy and coordinate with management, escrow, and lending teams.
  • Participate in weekly Sales Calls/Meetings and Sales Training.
  • Send videos to buyers on the status of their home and create videos for leads/prospects.
  • Work collaboratively with construction and service teams to deliver quality products and services.
  • Handle customer concerns and ensure satisfaction during the buying, construction, and closing process.
  • Meet or exceed sales goals and objectives on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
  • Track and manage leads, traffic, outreach, and sales through CRM tools.
  • Field temp calls regarding questions and direct them to appropriate channels.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of residential new homes sales experience including knowledge of escrow, lending, and sales training.
  • Must be able to work weekends.
  • Geographical knowledge of Northern California and the Sacramento region is a plus.
  • Must be organized and self-motivated.
  • Associates Degree and/or relevant experience is required.
  • Must have a valid Real Estate License.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task.
  • Valid and unrestricted driver's license.
