About the position

Carle Health is seeking an additional BE/BC Neuroradiologist to join our expanding Radiology Division at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois. This is a 100% Neuroradiology cross-sectional position requiring fellowship training. The position offers a base salary of $605,000 with a lucrative incentive package. The hospital is a Comprehensive Stroke Center with Level I Trauma Center and has active referral bases in Neurosurgery, Neurology, and Otolaryngology. There are teaching and research opportunities available through the affiliation with the Carle Illinois College of Medicine. Candidates will have opportunities for flexible scheduling and a home workstation for remote reading, along with a private on-site office/workspace. Candidates must be proficient (or willing to grow) in advanced imaging modalities including MR spectroscopy/perfusion and fMRI, and should be able to perform basic fluoroscopic-guided spinal procedures and neuro spine plain films interpretations. The group is lifestyle-oriented, with no overnight call and only 4-5 weekend calls per year (7a-7p).

Responsibilities

  • Perform neuroradiology procedures and interpretations.
  • Utilize advanced imaging modalities including MR spectroscopy/perfusion and fMRI.
  • Conduct basic fluoroscopic-guided spinal procedures and neuro spine plain films interpretations.
  • Collaborate with neurosurgical, neurology, and otolaryngology teams.
  • Participate in teaching and research opportunities at the Carle Illinois College of Medicine.

Requirements

  • Board Eligible/Board Certified in Neuroradiology.
  • Fellowship training in Neuroradiology.
  • Proficiency in advanced imaging modalities.
  • Ability to perform basic fluoroscopic-guided spinal procedures.
