About The Position
The Leidos Digital Modernization Sector has a career opportunity for a Network Engineer SME to join our dynamic DES (Defense Enclave Services) team supporting DISA at Fort Meade, MD on a hybrid basis. The Defense Enclave Services contract will unify the DoD Fourth Estate Defense Agencies and Field Activities’ (DAFAs) common use information technology systems, personnel, functions, and program elements under the direction of DISA’s Fourth Estate Network Optimization program office. It will unify the DAFAs on a common, modernized network architecture, DoDNet, to provide mission services focused on enhanced user experience, improved security, and network reliability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of related experience; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification required prior to start (Security+ CE or equivalent).
- Enterprise network modernization and migration experience
- Experience supporting large-scale transformation or integration efforts
- Primary Skill Areas (must have ONE): Aruba Wireless, Cisco Wireless, Cisco ISE, Azure Cloud

- Understanding of hybrid cloud networking concepts and secure connectivity architectures
- Experience supporting network segmentation, access control, and identity-based networking solutions
- Enterprise wireless migration planning and execution
