About the position
The Network and Cable Crew Leader at Lincoln Electric System (LES) is responsible for managing and motivating a team of technicians to ensure the efficient installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network and cable systems. This role emphasizes project quality, safety, and customer satisfaction while providing leadership and mentorship to crew members. The position requires a strong technical background and offers opportunities for growth and advancement in a dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate a crew of employees to ensure safe and proper completion of work.
- Assist in repairs and maintenance to support construction and maintenance operations.
- Develop, implement, and maintain preventive maintenance schedules and procedures for electrical equipment and systems.
- Perform and direct all phases of construction, operation, and maintenance of network facilities and streetlights.
- Assist supervisor in prioritizing and assigning work for staff, ensuring training and monitoring performance.
- Implement, review, and modify maintenance or construction procedures to solve problems and maintain equipment.
- Complete, review, and approve various reports and job-related paperwork.
Requirements
- Associates degree in a related field.
- First Class status and a minimum of one year of experience in the area of assignment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid commercial driver's license.
- Asbestos Supervisor License or the ability to obtain within 12 months.
