About The Position

Join Raytheon Digital Technology as a Senior Analyst, Information Workplace Services, focusing on Classified Infrastructure Services in Tucson, AZ. This onsite role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of classified network infrastructure at Raytheon/RTX locations. The position involves the installation, maintenance, support, and monitoring of network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in network support and an active US Secret Security Clearance. This role is situated within proprietary program areas, many of which require Special Access (SAP or Special Access Programs).

Requirements

  • University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
  • Experience in configuration and troubleshooting of Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and/or intrusion detection systems, including software upgrades.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Certifications in Security+ within 6 months and Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) is highly desired within a year.
  • Cisco ISE experience with 802.1X.
  • SolarWinds experience.
  • Setting up client server environments for government networks.
  • Experience with current cabling and fiber standards.
  • Experience with access control list, security posture, and vendor best practices.
  • Experience with Visio diagramming and design capabilities.
  • 1-2 years of experience with network management software.
  • Willingness and availability to travel domestically as needed.
  • Knowledge of configuration and troubleshooting of encryption devices.
  • Effective customer service skills, including oral and written communications.
  • Experience with platforms such as IP telephony, NTP servers, GemOne, and SolarWinds.
  • Ability to work under time constraints.
  • Experience with classified computing, STIG compliance, and network refreshes.
  • Current DoD Top Secret level security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains smooth operation of voice and data networks.
  • Plans, evaluates, coordinates, and performs installation and/or reconfiguration of hardware and software elements of data and/or voice communication networks.
  • Develops technical expertise in all areas of voice and data networks hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, such as switches, routers, firewalls, authentication servers, encryptors, etc.
  • Works with network management software platforms.
  • Proposes solutions to management to ensure all communications requirements based on future needs and current usage, configuring such solutions to optimize cost savings aligning with future requirements factoring in redundancy and required network uptime.
  • Prepares or ensures that appropriate network documentation exists, including operational instructions, technical diagrams, and other documentation. Assists in developing documentation where none exists.
  • Provides regular monitoring and network analysis regarding short- and long-range planning for in-house systems.
  • Assists with coordination of third-party maintenance for network equipment or with vendors for third-party support.
  • Willingness and availability to work outside normal business hours (evenings and weekends) as needed.
  • Ability to work with general supervision and follow established procedures.
