About the position

The Regional Director of Support, Dining is responsible for providing exceptional leadership to the dining teams within Paradies Lagardère. This role focuses on achieving financial performance targets, ensuring high standards of guest service, and maintaining quality and cleanliness across all dining facilities. The Regional Director plays a crucial role in delivering an industry-leading dining experience and contributes significantly to the overall mission of the Dining Division.

Responsibilities

  • Exceed First Class Service standards and behavior with every guest, business partner, and peers.
  • Manage the relationship with Airport Officials on behalf of Paradies Lagardère Dining Division and build positive working relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations, including food safety standards.
  • Set financial goals and objectives in collaboration with the Regional Vice President of Ops and communicate them to the management team.
  • Oversee the overall financial performance of the platform(s).
  • Work with Flagship and/or General Managers to ensure financial profitability and success of all restaurants regarding cost centers, quality, guest service, and succession planning.
  • Lead the planning and execution of schedules related to new restaurant openings.
  • Serve as a role model to all team members by maintaining professionalism in the restaurant.
  • Promote an 'Open Door Policy' and be accessible to all team members.
  • Interview leadership candidates and make hiring and pay decisions.
  • Build high-performance teams through effective leadership, mentoring, and coaching.
  • Evolve productivity through best practices and continuous learning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in hotel/restaurant management is desirable, or a combination of practical experience and education.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of General Manager experience in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant.
  • Previous airport food & beverage experience is a plus.
  • Experience in quick service, full service, or fast casual operations is a plus.
  • Ability to work various shifts in a 7/365 team-oriented environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities to mentor and grow others.
  • Commitment to excellent guest service.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with others as a team.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to achieve all goals within assigned areas of responsibility.
