About the position
Our Auburn MA office has immediate openings for LVL I or LVL II X-Ray Technicians specializing in NAVSEA 271 (High & Low Voltage). While MT, PT, UT, and 5 years of NDT experience are preferred, they are not required. Applicants must be able to provide specific QA documents including a High School Diploma/GED/Degree, proof of classroom hours/training, and previous level 1/2 certifications & OJT.
Responsibilities
- Perform X-Ray Technician duties as per NAVSEA 271 standards.
- Provide QA documentation as required.
- Communicate effectively with clients, supervisors, and co-workers.
- Adapt to short notice work assignments and occasional out of town travel.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Transportation Worker Identification Credential.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to perform a wide variety of tasks and respond to short notice work assignments.
- Ability to read technical documents and engineering specifications (preferred).
- Proven ability to follow precise directions and procedures.
- Proven ability to adapt to an ever-changing schedule.
Nice-to-haves
- MT, PT, UT certifications.
- 5 years of NDT experience.
