Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain a comprehensive, centralized program for facility and equipment maintenance.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment lifespan and minimize downtime.
  • Optimize space usage within the facility to maximize efficiency and productivity.
  • Develop action plans for new equipment installs, including developing Preventative Maintenance programs.
  • Oversee capital improvement projects, including renovations, expansions, and facility upgrades.
  • Leverage CMMS to ensure the facility program is successfully being executed.
  • Oversee construction, renovations, and improvement projects, including vendor selection and contract negotiation.
  • Develop and ensure compliance with all local and federal safety regulations.
  • Identify, evaluate and manage relationships with external vendors providing maintenance, repair and cleaning services.
  • Identify potential facility-related risks and create preventative strategies.
  • Develop and ensure adherence to the facility’s department budget.
  • Implement strategies to reduce energy consumption and promote sustainability practices.
  • Create a culture of continuous improvement within the facilities team.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and other departments to align facility operations with business objectives.
  • Plan and set department objectives, goals, and deadlines.
  • Select and oversee the work of specialized contractors.
  • Obtain required licenses and permits for applicable projects.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years experience as a Facilities Director or Manager.
  • Must have multi-site & facility program experience.
  • In-depth understanding of construction operations and full-cycle processes.
  • Understanding of Architectural/Engineering planning software.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing), security, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (preferred).
  • Proficiency in floor planning software (preferred).
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to lead and inspire while furthering the culture of Wyld.
  • Degree in Engineering, Construction Engineering Management, or a similar field is preferred.
