About the position

The Warehouse Production Supervisor at RNDC is responsible for overseeing the night shift operations within the warehouse. This role involves directly supervising warehouse associates, ensuring efficient order picking, handling, and loading of products for timely deliveries. The supervisor will plan work assignments, monitor warehouse technology usage, enforce safety protocols, and implement cross-training programs to maintain workforce flexibility.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate activities of shift warehouse associates during the night shift.
  • Assign people and equipment to complete the picking, handling, and loading of customer orders.
  • Plan work assignments and equipment allocation to meet production goals.
  • Schedule associates across case pick, bottle pick, truck loading, and replenishment responsibilities.
  • Release and monitor waves as products are picked and loaded, addressing any issues promptly.
  • Step in to cover warehouse worker responsibilities as needed.
  • Oversee the daily use of warehouse technology (WMS) and picking technology (voice picking).
  • Ensure compliance with warehouse safety and housekeeping procedures.
  • Plan and execute ongoing cross-training programs for workforce flexibility.
  • Assist in setting process improvement goals for warehouse employees.
  • Provide safety tips and recognize associates for safe work practices.
  • Oversee inspections of material handling equipment and ensure proper maintenance.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or six months to one year of related experience and/or training.
  • 5-7 years of previous Warehouse Management experience.
  • Experience with Manhattan Labor Management and Warehouse Management is a plus.
  • Experience leading and implementing changes in processes and systems.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with warehouse technology and systems.
  • Knowledge of safety and housekeeping procedures in a warehouse environment.
