About the position

Amlogic is looking for talented and self-driven multimedia software engineer to join the team. The role involves developing audio and video drivers on ARM SoC, designing and integrating various embedded applications and middleware, and integrating Over the Top (OTT) streaming applications including Netflix and YouTube. Additionally, the engineer will be responsible for developing and implementing AV codec and algorithms.

Responsibilities

• Develop audio and video driver on ARM SoC
• Design, develop and integrate various embedded application and middleware
• Integrate Over the Top (OTT) streaming applications including Netflix and YouTube
• Develop and implement AV codec and algorithm

Requirements

• BS or MS in computer science
• 7+ years of multimedia software development
• Linux development tools including GIT, GDB and JIRA
• Good understanding of multimedia streaming technologies including HLS, DASH etc
• Good understanding of Object Oriented Programming (OOP) Concepts
• Strong debugging/trouble-shooting skills of embedded systems
• Participate in design/code review(s) and work to improve overall code quality
• Handled full Software Life cycle, systems analysis and design for embedded software
