About the position

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Leasing Agent to join our team at W1 Funding LLC. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing leasing activities, ensuring tenant satisfaction, and maintaining property standards. This position requires strong communication skills, a customer-focused approach, and the ability to navigate various leasing regulations, including LIHTC and Section 8.

Responsibilities

• Conduct property tours for prospective tenants, showcasing available units and community amenities.
• Manage the application process, including screening applicants and verifying documentation.
• Maintain accurate records of tenant applications and lease agreements in compliance with legal requirements.
• Address tenant inquiries and concerns promptly, utilizing effective conflict management skills to resolve issues.
• Collaborate with facilities management to ensure properties are well-maintained and meet tenant expectations.
• Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools to track leads, follow up with prospects, and maintain relationships with current tenants.
• Assist in marketing efforts to promote available units through various channels, including online listings and community events.
• Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations related to leasing practices.

Requirements

• 2 years of administrative experience
• Strong communication skills
• Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations
• Experience in property leasing
• Familiarity with LIHTC and Section 8 regulations
• Strong conflict management abilities
• Excellent customer service skills
• Professional phone etiquette

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
• Understanding of facilities management principles
