This opportunity resides with Warfare Systems (WS), a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division. Warfare Systems comprises cyber and mission IT; electronic warfare; and C5ISR systems. HII works within our nation’s intelligence and cyber operations communities to defend our interests in cyberspace and anticipate emerging threats. Our capabilities in cybersecurity, network architecture, reverse engineering, software and hardware development uniquely enable us to support sensitive missions for the U.S. military and federal agency partners. The Multi-Domain Operations Analyst will support a growing portfolio of analytic capabilities serving various DoW and IC customers, including the Space Warfighting Analysis Center (SWAC), Space Security and Defense Program (SSDP), US Space Command, US Strategic Command, Air Force Studies and Analysis, and the Air Force Research Laboratory. The Analyst will perform a critical role within a team of modeling & simulation (M&S) experts by facilitating the translation and transformation of intelligence, operational concepts, and system performance to support development of quantitative system, engagement, and mission models used in simulation analysis. The Analyst will work alongside M&S engineers to interpret results, draw conclusions, and make recommendations to Government customers. Current lines of effort focus on all classes of threats to space systems, applying innovative approaches to joint mission thread/kill chain analyses and multi-domain campaign analysis. The Analyst will work directly with subject matter experts, intelligence analysts, and Government customers to curate information to drive timely analysis in a dynamic environment. To collaborate with the team, the Analyst will adopt Model Based Systems Engineering principles and practices to enable precise communication of system behaviors, performance characteristics, interactions, and assumptions. Resulting analyses inform force design and CONOPS development for current and future DoW architectures. The Analyst will prepare technical products, integrating efforts across mission partners, and interacting with Government customers. Strong communication skills are required to present novel technical concepts to a wide variety of audiences. Government customers are primarily located in Reston, Colorado Springs, Dayton, Omaha, and Albuquerque.
