About the position

The MSIPP CONNECT Masters Intern position at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) is designed for graduate students interested in law and policy, particularly in the context of national security, energy, and science. Responsibilities

  • Contribute to research and programmatic support for TPR programs.

  • Gather, analyze, and evaluate information from various sources.
  • Develop creative solutions to national and international nuclear nonproliferation problems.

Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in a Master's program at an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 required.
  • Experience with legal and policy research related to international relations preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including cross-cultural communication.
  • Experience performing open-source research.
  • Knowledgeable in nonproliferation domains such as nuclear security and arms control.
  • Familiarity with federal organizations like DOE, DHS, and DOD.
