About the position

The MS Language Arts Teacher at Charter Schools USA (CSUSA) is responsible for creating and implementing a flexible educational program that fosters student learning and personal growth. This role involves developing lesson plans, establishing effective rapport with students, and motivating them to develop essential skills and knowledge. The teacher will work within a supportive environment that emphasizes a commitment to student greatness and academic excellence.

Responsibilities

• Plans and implements a program of instruction that adheres to the company's philosophy, goals, and objectives.
• Develops purposeful and appropriate lesson plans that maximize time on task.
• Presents subject matter to students to maximize learning opportunities and provides real-world examples.
• Maintains accurate and complete student records and assesses student strengths and weaknesses.
• Utilizes a variety of student learning modalities and differentiated instruction in lessons.
• Coordinates class field trips and prepares students for state-required assessments.
• Communicates clearly and positively with parents and participates in extracurricular activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Possession of valid teaching certification.
• Minimum of one to three years of successful teaching experience.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Student Information Systems (SIS).
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with various stakeholders.
