About The Position

Trinity Health Of New England is looking for an MRI Technologist to join their team. This role contributes to the efficient operation of the department and promotes quality and continuity of patient care by performing M.R.I. examinations. The technologist will provide direct patient care to all ages, with a focus on adult patients, demonstrating the knowledge and skills necessary for age-appropriate care. The position may require working at either campus or an access center.

Requirements

  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).
  • Must be graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Registered American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, with MRI certification (or obtained within (1) one year of hire date).
  • Current Connecticut License.

Responsibilities

  • Performs M.R.I. examinations, contributing to the efficient operation of the department and promoting the philosophy, to ensure the quality and continuity of patient care.
  • Provides direct patient care to all ages of patients, particularly focusing on the adult patient.
  • Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his/her unit.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development of the life span and possesses the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements.
