About the position

The position involves performing a variety of standardized imaging procedures, setting up and adjusting related equipment, and maintaining records under the guidance of the Senior Imaging Staff. This role is essential in providing high-quality imaging services to patients at Penn State Health - Hershey Medical Center.

Responsibilities

  • Perform standardized imaging procedures as directed.
  • Set up and adjust imaging equipment and devices.
  • Maintain accurate records related to imaging procedures.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an ARRT Radiography Program or ARRT recognized MRI Technologist Program or ARMRIT recognized MRI Technologist Program.
  • Must pass the radiography ARRT registry within six months of employment.
  • Must pass the MRI ARRT registry within two years of employment.
  • Must pass the ARRT (MRI) or ARMRIT registry within six months of employment.

Nice-to-haves

  • MRI experience preferred.
