About The Position

We’re looking for a skilled and patient-focused MRI Technologist to join our growing Medical Imaging team in beautiful northern New Mexico. This is an exciting opportunity for an imaging professional who thrives in a collaborative healthcare environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care through advanced diagnostic technology. As an MRI Technologist, you’ll play a critical role in helping physicians diagnose and treat patients accurately and efficiently. You’ll work alongside Radiologists and an experienced imaging team while utilizing state-of-the-art MRI equipment in a supportive, team-oriented setting. Requirements

  • New Mexico Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist License required within 90 days of hire
  • ARRT Certification in Magnetic Resonance (MR) required within 12 months of hire
  • Current BLS certification required

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital or medically related environment preferred
  • MR registry preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality MRI procedures while following established protocols and ensuring patient comfort and safety
  • Assist Radiologists with MRI procedures to support accurate diagnoses and ensure all imaging processes are performed to the highest standards
  • Retrieve and review prior imaging studies and patient films to assist with ongoing treatment and diagnosis
  • Maintain accurate patient records, imaging documentation and track patient progress
  • Support fellow technologists and the Medical Imagine Department to contribute to a positive, team-driven environment
  • Participate in on-call radiology services as needed
