About the position
Soliant Health is seeking an experienced Travel MRI Tech for a rewarding 13-week assignment in Arlington, VA. This position offers a 4x10s schedule on the 2nd shift (Wednesday-Saturday, 12:00 PM - 10:30 PM), allowing for long weekends to explore the vibrant capital region. The role involves performing high-quality MRI scans, assisting in diagnostic procedures, and collaborating with medical staff to provide excellent patient care.
Responsibilities
- Operate MRI machines to conduct diagnostic imaging procedures.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during the MRI process.
- Review images for quality and accuracy, ensuring they meet diagnostic standards.
- Maintain accurate records of patient scans and communicate findings to physicians.
- Follow safety protocols and infection control procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
Requirements
- ARRT (MRI) certification is required.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Virginia state licensure or eligibility to obtain.
- Previous MRI Tech experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in operating MRI equipment and performing various MRI scans.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.
