About the position

The MRI Technologist position at Mercy Medical Center is a per diem role responsible for performing all aspects of MR imaging. This role is crucial for the accurate diagnosis and treatment of diseases in patients across various demographics. Responsibilities

• Perform all aspects of MR imaging accurately according to established procedures and policies.
• Follow all regulatory guidelines and MRI safety precautions.
• Maintain professional standards of conduct and ethics as outlined in department expectations.
• Access pertinent patient information and process images accurately.
• Ensure correct images, accurate billing, and file documentation.
• Record information related to exams into the department computer system.
• Support clinical team members with other activities when not engaged in imaging.

Requirements

• ARRT (MR) Certification required.
• Current BLS Certification upon hire and must remain current.
• Graduate of an ARRT approved Radiologic Technology Program or MRI course required.
• At least 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist preferred.
• Proficient computer skills.
