About the position
The Mortgage/Equity Business Support Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting business partners throughout the mortgage and equity processes. This hybrid position requires a strong understanding of real estate lending systems and the home buying, refinancing, and equity processes. The specialist will troubleshoot complex issues, collaborate with various teams, and ensure system stability during outages, all while maintaining effective communication with stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Support business partners with knowledge of the mortgage/equity process from start to finish.
- Troubleshoot complex tickets related to mortgage and equity systems.
- Collaborate with various teams, vendors, internal team members, and leadership.
- Provide root cause analysis during system outages and send mass communications to keep partners informed.
- Perform basic SQL queries and updates as needed.
- Participate in weekend coverage and system validations on a rotation schedule.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of real estate lending systems and processes.
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
- Proficient in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Familiarity with SQL and ability to perform basic queries.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and planning skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Tech-savvy with experience in ServiceNow.
