About The Position

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Troy, MI. The role involves handling inbound calls related to mortgage servicing, specifically addressing insurance-related inquiries. The position requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, accuracy, and compliance. The initial training period of 45 days will be fully on-site, followed by a hybrid schedule. No time off is allowed during the first 6 weeks of employment.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of recent customer service experience
  • Comfortable using a Windows-based system and multiple tools
  • Typing speed of 35+ WPM
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Reliable internet connection (required for remote work)

Responsibilities

  • Handle 35–45 inbound calls per day (average 11–14 minutes per call)
  • Answer insurance-related inquiries for mortgage servicing
  • Support borrowers, insurance agents, and financial institutions
  • Address questions related to: Homeowners insurance, Payments and coverage details
  • Accurately document calls and research information across multiple systems
  • Maintain strong attention to detail, accuracy, and compliance
  • Deliver professional customer service and effective problem resolution
