About The Position

This role involves receiving, reviewing, researching, and processing Money Movement transactions for Transfer Agents (TA) and Broker Dealers (BD) using Vanguard systems. The associate will ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to regulations, aiming for timely completion of client requests with minimal rework. The position also includes participating in the production of control and end-of-day reports, maintaining a comprehensive knowledge of Vanguard policies and procedures, and upholding departmental quality and productivity standards. A key aspect of the role is actively contributing to improving the client experience through feedback sessions, process improvement discussions, and supporting Vanguard Unmatchable Excellence (VUE) initiatives. The associate will identify improvement opportunities and collaborate with management on implementing solutions. Effective work relationships are crucial, requiring professional and cooperative interactions with peers and management, and proactive communication of issues impacting the team and business to the Team Leader. Building productive relationships across the organization to exceed client expectations, and finding ways to simplify processes for both external and internal clients while mitigating risk are also key responsibilities. The role demands demonstrating 'best practices' as an expert resource, maintaining in-depth knowledge of departmental processing functions, Vanguard's processing systems, and vendor websites. Performing Same Day Quality Audit (SDQA) functions, providing feedback on quality trends and educational opportunities to the Team Leader, and guiding less experienced associates are also part of the role. A logical and systematic approach to problem-solving, focusing on client expectations, risk management, and operational efficiency is expected.
