About the position

The Mobile Tire Technician is responsible for installing and inspecting tires on company tractors and trailers at customer sites and rail yards. This role requires working outdoors in various weather conditions and may involve multiple shifts, including nights and weekends. The technician must adhere to safety policies and maintain tire inventory while ensuring compliance with company guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Install and inspect tires on tractors and trailers using Company guidelines
• Observe all Company safety requirements
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Organize and maintain tire inventory for trucks
• Ensure compliance with safety policies including all safety and OSHA requirements while at a customer facility or rail yard

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to work outdoors and across multiple shifts including nights and weekends
• Basic tools required for the role
• Ability to lift above 50 lbs., bend, stoop, push, and pull
• Ability to wear appropriate work attire (protective gear/PPE)
