About The Position

The Mobile Therapist is a key member of an interdisciplinary team, providing individualized, child-centered therapy services within a school setting while collaborating closely with families and caregivers. This role focuses on supporting students’ emotional, behavioral, and social needs to promote success both in the classroom and at home. Services are delivered primarily in a school-based setting, with additional support provided in the home or community as clinically appropriate.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Human Service, or a related field AND licensed in PA as a psychologist, LCSW, LSW, LMFT, or LPC.
  • Licensed in PA as a social worker or behavior specialist AND have a graduate degree that required a clinical or mental health direct service practicum from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum of 1-year full-time experience in providing mental health direct services to children – 21 years of age AND a master's degree with at least nine credits specific to clinical practice in psychology, social work or counseling from an accredited college or university
  • Completed a clinical or mental health direct service practicum AND have a master's degree with at least 9 credits specific to clinical practice in psychology, social work, education, counseling or a related field from an accredited college or university.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual and family therapy using a child-centered, strengths-based approach
  • Deliver face-to-face therapeutic services to students during the school day
  • Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support student success
  • Conduct assessments to identify strengths, needs, and treatment goals
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student and family needs
  • Actively involve students and caregivers in the treatment process
  • Support behavioral and emotional regulation strategies within the classroom environment
  • Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation, including progress notes and service records
  • Ensure compliance with all program, state, and regulatory requirements
  • Submit time and service documentation within required timelines
  • Participate in team meetings and interdisciplinary collaboration
  • Provide clinical supervision when required (if applicable)
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
