About the position

The Mobile Home Park Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and maintenance of a manufactured home community in Newport, WA. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage property upkeep, handle tenant relations, and ensure compliance with community regulations. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, organized, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the community, ensuring upkeep and curb appeal.
  • Physically examine the property regularly, keeping lawns mowed and free of garbage.
  • Check on repairs or updates to community and equipment, assisting construction crew when needed.
  • Monitor and document water tracking, irrigation systems, and meter logs.
  • Receive and resolve resident complaints.
  • Collect tenant rent, make deposits, and track all property expenses.
  • Enforce all rules and regulations established by the community.
  • Input meter data into monthly reports and communicate with main office personnel regularly.
  • Deliver notices to tenants.

Requirements

  • 1 year of property maintenance experience.
  • 1 year of property management experience.
  • Computer literate with experience in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations and multitask effectively.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bilingual skills are a plus.
