About the position

The MMIS IV&V Project Manager will play a crucial role in the successful implementation and enhancement of a large healthcare system. This position involves overseeing project activities, managing team performance, and ensuring quality management services are delivered effectively. The Project Manager will work closely with business partners and vendor teams, acting as the primary point of contact and responsible for the overall health of the project.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily activities of the project team, making assignments and maintaining control over performance.
  • Develop and maintain a project schedule, monitoring key milestones and deliverables.
  • Manage and report on project issues and assess project risks.
  • Perform reviews and assessments of project deliverables and work products.
  • Support NTT Project Management and IV&V methodology and implementation guidance.
  • Evaluate contractor work plans and resource allocations for appropriateness.
  • Develop IV&V/Quality Assurance Project Plans and submit weekly status reports.
  • Provide quality assurance to evaluate the correctness and quality of MMIS Enterprise Modules projects.
  • Participate in ongoing project activities and provide quarterly quality assurance oversight.
  • Assess user and stakeholder involvement in various project phases, including requirements validation and user acceptance testing.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience as the lead on MMIS IV&V projects.
  • Minimum 7 years of Medicaid systems experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of MITA experience.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
