About the position

Mindoula Health is seeking licensed Therapists in Missouri to join their Substance Use Disorder Program, focusing on prenatal and postpartum care for substance-exposed populations. This remote position allows clinicians to work flexibly while providing essential support and therapy to members across the United States. The role emphasizes collaboration, autonomy, and the application of evidence-based practices in a family-focused culture.

Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, and implement individualized care strategies for members.
  • Collaborate with members, families, and healthcare providers to develop personalized care plans.
  • Conduct individual counseling and group therapy sessions with adolescents and adults.
  • Identify and initiate referrals for social service programs, including financial and community support services.
  • Advocate for members and families to ensure their needs and choices are represented in the healthcare team.
  • Utilize approved clinical criteria to assess and determine the appropriate level of care for members.
  • Document all member assessments, care plans, and referrals provided.
  • Achieve set goals and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Learn the StrongWell model and take responsibility for outcome-based care.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and utilization management rounds to assist with safe transitions of care.
  • Promote responsible and ethical stewardship of company resources.
  • Maintain excellent punctuality and attendance during work hours.

Requirements

  • Licensed as LCSW, LMFT, or LPC in Missouri.
  • Preferred experience with substance abuse populations.
  • Background in maternal substance abuse preferred.
  • Experience working with adults and adolescents.
  • Familiarity with Medicare and Medicaid procedures.
  • Remote work experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with substance abuse treatment programs.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices in therapy.
