Responsibilities
- Plan and implement a program of study in specific subject areas.
- Design instructional plans based on content knowledge and understanding of students.

- Engage students in learning through clear directions and effective questioning.
- Provide timely and specific academic feedback to support student learning.

- Attend faculty meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and other school functions.
- Perform assigned duties related to instructional and non-instructional components.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- Type C, Level I or OS Louisiana teaching certificate.
- Ability to design and implement instructional plans aligned with state standards.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in departmentalized and self-contained teaching environments.
- Familiarity with 504 and IDEA modifications.
- Leadership experience in school or district projects.
