Middle School Girls Softball Coach

About the position

The Head Softball Coach is responsible for creating and implementing positive program development. The coach must demonstrate strong leadership in player and staff development, sportsmanship, integrity, and character development. Qualified candidates should possess strong communication and organizational skills. They must demonstrate exceptional knowledge of the skills and strategies of the softball program as it pertains to interscholastic athletics in Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement positive program development for the softball team.
• Demonstrate strong leadership in player and staff development.
• Promote sportsmanship, integrity, and character development among players.
• Communicate effectively with administrators, parents, and students.
• Implement a training program for the team.

Requirements

• Must have successful experience as a coach.
• Must be able to implement a training program.
• Must possess leadership qualities necessary for working effectively with administrators, parents, and students.
