About the position
Procare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Middle School ESL Teacher to support students in the Berkeley, IL area. This full-time position involves working in an ESL Resource Room, providing essential language support to middle school students. The role is contracted through Procare Therapy, which offers comprehensive support and benefits for its employees.
Responsibilities
- Teach English as a Second Language (ESL) to middle school students.
- Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to the needs of ESL students.
- Assess student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to support student learning.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of teaching experience required.
- Professional Educator License (PEL) with ESL Endorsement is necessary.
- School-based experience is preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check.
