About The Position

San Marcos Academy (SMA) is seeking applications for a Middle School Assistant Volleyball Coach. This is an excellent position for individuals seeking to coach/work in a Christian environment that will allow for professional and spiritual growth. The position is part-time (stipend only). SMA is a fully accredited private Christian school for students in PreK 3 through 12th grade, with a boarding program for students in grades 6–12.

Requirements

• Christian testimony
• A passion for working with young people
• A passion for coaching (experience preferred)

Nice To Haves

• Holding CDL or willing to get one is a plus

Responsibilities

• Running daily practices Monday-Friday and some Saturday practices or/ games
• Attending all practices and games
• Driving the team to games in a 15 passenger bus (CDL preferred but not required)
• Serving as a role model for players and other students
