About the position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Commercial Banking Leader for the Middle Market Banking team in New York City. This role involves acting as an advisor to develop and manage moderately complex client relationships, leading a team of relationship managers, and ensuring the delivery of financial solutions that meet client needs. The leader will also focus on process improvement, risk control, and talent development within the team.

Responsibilities

  • Act as an advisor to guide and influence team strategy for client relationship management.
  • Manage and develop a team of relationship managers in Commercial Banking.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and risk control development.
  • Collaborate with senior managers and clients to resolve issues and achieve business objectives.
  • Manage allocation of resources to meet commitments and align with strategic objectives.
  • Lead relationship planning activities and maintain sales disciplines.
  • Partner with Commercial Lending Product Management to influence business strategies.
  • Support Business Development Representatives in sourcing new Commercial Banking clients.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of Commercial Banking Relationship Management experience.
  • 3+ years of management or comparable leadership experience.
