About The Position

Regina Caeli Academy (www.rcahybrid.org) is seeking a part-time Middle and High School Teacher to teach in a classical and Catholic classroom for 13 hours per week. The center is located near Denver, Colorado in Highlands Ranch. Classes may include Math, Science, Latin, Language Arts, Religion, and History. No teaching certification or formal teaching experience is required, as training will be provided. The ideal applicant may have experience homeschooling, working with homeschool children, ministry in their Catholic parish, teaching Religious Education or Catechism classes, teaching their own children, or teaching in a classical or private school. RCA offers instruction in a formal Socratic classroom setting on Mondays and Thursdays. The positions are hourly, and childcare/nursery is provided. No additional vacation days are given, though accommodations are made for sick days as needed. Applicants must be able to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church and have a deep love for the Catholic faith. Curriculum and grading guidelines are provided, and tutors are trained to provide instruction and classroom management according to RCA standards. The ideal applicant will have strong communication skills, good organization, timeliness, a traditional view of the student/teacher relationship, and must be living the Catholic faith day-to-day, including having received all the sacraments appropriate to their state in life. All staff complete a background check and mandatory training. The center hours are Mondays and Thursdays ONLY from 9:00 am - 3:30 pm. Tutors must be willing to prepare for classes at home and come to class prepared to teach in a highly structured environment. Applicants must be available to attend mandatory training on August 6 and 7, 2026, prior to working in the classroom (8 am-5 pm; no childcare provided, nursing babies always welcome). All employees of Regina Caeli are required to have a clear background check.
