Mid-Level Provider or Physician

About the position

AIDS Healthcare Foundation is the largest specialized provider of HIV/AIDS medical care in the nation. Our mission is to provide cutting edge medicine and advocacy, regardless of ability to pay. Through our healthcare centers, pharmacies, health plan, research and other activities, AHF provides access to the latest HIV treatments for all who need them. We are now looking for a Provider at an AHF HIV primary care outpatient facility. You'll join a full staff committed to serving the city's underserved patient population, including the LGBTQ community and individuals living with HIV/AIDS.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care services to patients in an outpatient setting.
• Diagnose and treat HIV/AIDS clients.
• Manage a patient load of 15-18 patients per day.
• Collaborate with a full support team including Practice Manager, MA, and RNs.

Requirements

• Must possess a Medical Board license MD/DO or RNP/PA (State specific) in Internal/Family Medicine/Adult Gerontology/Infectious Disease.
• Valid DEA & Furnishing license.
• Current CPR/BLS (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation) certification required.
• Prior experience or interest in treating and diagnosing HIV/AIDS clients in an outpatient Primary Care setting.
• Must obtain AAHIVM Certification within 18 months of hire.
