Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Associate or Mid-Level Procurement Analyst to join our dynamic team in Tukwila, Washington. This position is hybrid, requiring some work onsite at one of the listed location options, and is for 1st shift. The selected candidate will be responsible for defining, designing, planning, and deploying internal and external projects. They will develop processes and tools to measure key performance indicators, extract, analyze, and prepare reports to measure key supplier and internal performance-to-plan, and support the development and implementation of strategies. The role also involves identifying and implementing improvements to streamline and automate process flows, distributing, updating, and tracking procurement plans for supply chain integration and procurement analysis, and assessing and reporting compliance to internal and external stakeholders. Additionally, the candidate will develop risk mitigation plans and document and participate in the implementation of lean improvements. This position must meet export control compliance requirements, necessitating that the candidate is a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15.

Responsibilities

  • Defines, designs, plans, and deploys internal/external projects.
  • Develops processes and tools to measure key performance indicators.
  • Extracts, analyzes, and prepares reports to measure key supplier and internal performance-to-plan.
  • Develops, documents, and implements processes and systems in support of company goals.
  • Supports the development and implementation of strategies.
  • Identifies and implements improvements to streamline and automate process flows.
  • Distributes, updates, and tracks procurement plans for supply chain integration and procurement analysis.
  • Assesses and reports compliance to internal/external stakeholders.
  • Develops risk mitigation plans.

Requirements

  • More than 1 year of experience with Supplier Management or Procurement practices and processes.
  • More than 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
  • More than 1 year of experience preparing reports in support of data analysis.
  • Typically 6 or more years' related work experience or relevant military experience for Mid-Level 3.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • More than 3 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience for Mid-Level 3.
  • More than 1 year of experience supporting deliverables for both internal and external customers.
  • Experience working with procurement contracting.
