The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) organization is seeking a Mid-Level or Experienced Supply Base Management Specialist to join our dynamic team in Tukwila, WA. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an innovative and diverse team. In this role, you will partner with our Senior Leadership team on program management & strategic business transformation initiatives, to make the company stronger, more competitive, and more resilient long term. You will have the chance to define and lead program & project management best practices. You will help drive business planning and decision making, operations, and business insights up and down the BDS value stream. As a Mid-Level Supply Base Management Specialist, you will facilitate supplier/subcontractor business relationships, in-service requirements, and performance to contractual obligations and expectations. You will develop and participate in the implementation of supply base plans to support customer, program, and commodity strategies. Your role will involve analyzing and monitoring supplier quality, delivery, and financial performance data to identify risks, issues, and opportunities, and developing mitigation plans. You will also identify and participate in supplier and business improvement activities, providing outcomes for potential integration into contracting strategies. At the Experienced Level, you will lead supplier/subcontractor business relationships, manage and monitor supplier quality, delivery, and financial performance, and lead the development of mitigation plans to avoid risk and resolve issues impacting customers and programs. You will develop and implement supplier base plans to support customer, program, and commodity strategies, analyze supplier and business processes to identify improvement opportunities, and act as the primary point of contact for suppliers, customers, and programs. This position is hybrid, requiring some onsite work at one of the listed location options, and is for the 1st shift.
