About the position

The Microsoft D365 ERP (F&O) Functional Lead, Manager at PwC is responsible for leading teams to solve complex business issues through the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics technologies. This role involves managing client needs, conducting business analysis, and ensuring effective project execution while fostering a purpose-led and values-driven culture within the team.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new skills outside of comfort zone.
  • Act to resolve issues which prevent the team from working effectively.
  • Coach others, recognize their strengths, and encourage them to take ownership of their personal development.
  • Analyze complex ideas or proposals and build a range of meaningful recommendations.
  • Use multiple sources of information including broader stakeholder views to develop solutions and recommendations.
  • Address sub-standard work or work that does not meet firm's/client's expectations.
  • Use data and insights to inform conclusions and support decision-making.
  • Develop a point of view on key global trends, and how they impact clients.
  • Manage a variety of viewpoints to build consensus and create positive outcomes for all parties.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in a related role.
  • Extensive knowledge of the implementation lifecycle of Dynamics 365 F&O; Finance.
  • Experience conducting business analysis, requirement gathering workshops, and process mapping sessions.
  • Ability to gather requirements and perform As-Is and To-Be process analysis.
  • Experience converting requirements to functional specifications and functional design documents.

Nice-to-haves

  • Certification in Dynamics AX 365 F&O Finance, Project Accounting, Cost Accounting.
  • Experience producing Business Requirements Document and Functional Requirement Document (FRD).
  • Experience performing Gap-fit analysis and producing Gap-fit documents.
  • Experience conducting Joint application design workshops for acceptable solution design.
  • Experience preparing Business test cases and System test plans.
  • Experience configuring and setting up D365 F&O as per business process requirements.
  • Experience conducting user training and different system test cycles.
  • Experience designing integration with 3rd party systems.
  • Experience facilitating the implementation and support of Dynamics 365 ERP Finance and project accounting modules.
