As the Metrology Lab Leader, you'll lead our Dishwasher Metrology Lab operations, utilizing advanced 3D scanning equipment, CMM labs, and optical scanners. You'll guide metrology strategy, support innovative techniques, and train engineers while playing a critical role in delivering precise, high-quality results.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct and coordinate 3D scans for critical parts and assemblies; manage project timelines and communicate status updates effectively.
  • Support the creation of new fixturing and measurement techniques to enhance our metrology capabilities.
  • Train and coach engineers on 3D scanning equipment capabilities; conduct engaging demonstrations to promote lab expertise and innovation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, ideally in a technical field.
  • Strong experience with CAD and 3D CAD data manipulation.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects in high-pressure situations.
  • Technologically adept with proficiency in learning and using multiple software tools.
  • Strong leadership and teamwork skills; self-starter mentality.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to diagnose and articulate technical machine issues.

Nice-to-haves

  • Hands-on experience with 3D scanning equipment.
  • Expertise in additional metrology disciplines, including gage design, CMM programming, and Six Sigma data analysis.
  • Familiarity with CREO and Windchill software.
  • Engineering degree preferred.
