About the position

The Technical Architect for Merchandising and Inventory Management Solutions at Proits Hub LLC is responsible for developing and implementing effective pricing, allocation, and assortment strategies. This role requires a strong technical background in inventory management systems and a proven ability to optimize inventory processes to enhance supply chain efficiencies. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve inventory performance.

Responsibilities

• Working with business and technical teams to build solutions and systems integrations for developing effective pricing strategies.
• Develop solutions to design and implement effective allocation strategies that align with business objectives, ensuring optimal stock levels across various locations.
• Work on technical solutions to develop assortment planning initiatives to ensure the right products are available in the right quantities, maximizing sales opportunities and minimizing excess inventory.
• Oversee selection, implementation, and optimization of merchandise pricing and inventory management systems and tools, ensuring they meet the needs of the organization.
• Utilize advanced analytical skills to interpret inventory data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to enhance inventory management processes.
• Work closely with merchandising, sales, and logistics teams to develop integrated inventory strategies that support overall business goals.
• Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of inventory strategies, making adjustments as needed to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• 8-10 years of experience in implementing technical solutions for merchandising and inventory management, with a specific focus on allocation and assortment.
• Strong understanding of inventory management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Proven project management skills, with a track record of successfully leading inventory initiatives.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in Retail is a plus.
• Knowledge of demand forecasting techniques and their application in inventory management.
