About the position

As a merchandiser at Apollo Retail, you will engage in project-based work to enhance the visual appeal of products and displays, thereby attracting and engaging shoppers. This role involves building strong relationships with store managers and ensuring that merchandising activities align with company standards. The position is part-time and offers flexible scheduling options, including the possibility of evening or weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform merchandising activities including planogram implementations, resets, display setups, product cut-ins, audits, stocking shelves, light dusting and cleaning on completed sets, retagging, and product rotation for brands.
• Ensure store appearance and merchandise displays are in line with planograms.
• Accurately report daily hours worked via an online portal accessible with a smartphone, computer, or tablet.
• Maintain retailer-specific online certifications as necessary.
• Photograph finished assignments and report them to your District Manager after completion.
• Build relationships with retail store associates and management during daytime retail business hours.
• Adapt to changing work schedules and accept occasional evening or weekend shifts.

Requirements

• Must have own reliable transportation to travel 30 to 60 miles to multiple locations in the designated area.
• Effective communication skills with customers, team members, and Apollo management team.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, climb, and lift heavy objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to read diagrams or instructions, process instructions, and use hand tools as necessary.
• Must be 18 years or older.
