About the position
As a Merchandiser Retail Coverage II - Walmart - FLOATER at Acosta, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that Acosta's client brands are prominently displayed and available at Walmart stores. This part-time position involves executing retail merchandising activities that connect customers with their favorite brands in one of the largest retail environments in the world. You will enjoy a variety of tasks and a flexible schedule while representing Acosta and its clients.
Responsibilities
- Merchandise brands in various categories at Walmart stores.
- Work a flexible schedule of 2-4 days per week, with Fridays required.
- Start work between 6am-9am and complete tasks by 6pm, with no evening shifts.
- Locate merchandise in the backroom and stock products on shelves.
- Straighten products on shelves to ensure proper presentation.
- Receive and transport coupons and signage materials to stores.
- Utilize a company-issued mobile device to complete tasks and navigate applications.
- Answer step-by-step questions within Acosta's field technology on the mobile device.
- Take photos of completed work to demonstrate success.
- Represent Acosta and its clients in assigned Walmart stores.
- Collaborate with Walmart store management and associates to complete tasks.
Requirements
- Ability to work independently and represent Acosta effectively.
- Strong communication skills to interact with store associates and management.
- Reliable transportation to travel between multiple retail locations.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and complete work within provided timeframes.
