About the position

The Mental Health Therapist position at Lyra Health involves providing telehealth therapy services to clients through an innovative video therapy program. The role focuses on delivering evidence-based treatment while maintaining a diverse caseload of clients with varying mental health needs. Therapists will utilize digital tools to enhance client learning and monitor outcomes, all while working remotely. Responsibilities

  • Provide short-term, evidence-based treatment via live video sessions.
  • Maintain a caseload of diverse clinical needs.
  • Assign digital lessons, videos, and assessments to clients.
  • Participate in one-on-one and peer group clinical consultation meetings.
  • Conduct peer-based quality assurance reviews.
  • Attend training to enhance clinical skills.
  • Access expert consultation for complex client cases.

Requirements

  • Master's degree from a clinical track (e.g., MSW, MFT, MC, MMHC).
  • Unrestricted LCSW, LMFT, LPC, PsyD, PhD, or equivalent license without disciplinary action.
  • Experience providing evidence-based treatments (e.g., ACT, CBT, CPT, DBT).
  • Experience managing risk and responding to clinical crises.
  • Experience providing video therapy.
  • Ability to maintain a full clinical caseload of adult and/or adolescent clients (30 potential bookable spots).
  • Ability to work full-time, approximately 40 hours per week.
  • Full-time resident of the United States.
