About the position
The Awake Overnight Counselor at The Edinburg Center provides recovery-oriented psychosocial rehabilitation services to adults with mental health issues in a group living environment. This role involves delivering trauma-informed clinical interventions and support during overnight hours, ensuring the well-being of residents while collaborating with clinical staff.
Responsibilities
- Deliver recovery-oriented, evidence-based, trauma-informed clinical interventions as per treatment plans.
- Provide advocacy and support to individuals living in a group environment during overnight hours.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) preferred.
- Experience working with adults with mental health issues preferred.
- MAP certification required.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Valid driver's license required.
