Requirements

  • 2+ years of leadership experience with proven supervisory skills.
  • Knowledge of facility licensure regulations, OSHA standards, and safety procedures.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency with computers and social media.
  • A warm, approachable personality with a passion for seniors and memory care.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and step into other roles as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • A degree in Geriatrics, Elder Care, or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Lead with heart: Recruit, train, and mentor your team while creating an environment built on trust, compassion, and respect.
  • Inspire & empower staff: Provide coaching, recognition, and professional development to help your team succeed.
  • Deliver exceptional care: Collaborate with families, providers, and staff to ensure residents receive personalized, high-quality support using the Best Friends™ Approach to Alzheimer’s care.
  • Ensure safety & compliance: Oversee care plans, safety protocols, and documentation while maintaining regulatory standards.
  • Engage & connect: Build strong relationships with residents, families, and the community through events, programs, and meaningful interactions.
  • Support operations: Manage departmental budgets, assist with marketing and outreach, and keep the neighborhood welcoming, safe, and organized.
