Responsibilities

  • Administer or assist with self-administration of medication and treatments as prescribed by the health care provider, observing and reporting responses to your supervisor.
  • Ensure the medication supply room is organized and clean, assist with medication cart audits, and provide accurate counts of all medications.
  • Communicate with pharmacies to coordinate medication delivery.

Requirements

  • Completion of required training/certification as per state regulations.
  • Ability to observe and report medication responses to supervisors.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a healthcare setting as a Medication Aide/Tech.
